Gokyo Lake lies in the Solukhumbhu district of Sagarmatha Zone in north east of Nepal and it is also the native land of Sherpa’s. Gokyo Lake is the sequence of six arresting arctic lakes. The lakes are at loftiness of between 4,700 m and 5,000 m, which are considered as the worlds highest freshwater lakes. This lakes lies in the home of Everest “Sagarmatha National Park”.Gokyo Cho is often known as Dudh Pokhari. Gokyo Lake trekking offers the perfect eye catching views of roof of the world Mount Everest(8848 m) and many other highest peaks in the world including Lhotse (8516 m), Makalu (8481  m) and Cho Oyu (8153 m).
