Gokyo Lake lies in the Solukhumbhu district of Sagarmatha Zone in north east of Nepal and it is also the native land of Sherpa’s. Gokyo Lake is the sequence of six arresting arctic lakes. The lakes are at loftiness of between 4,700 m and 5,000 m, which are considered as the worlds highest freshwater lakes.
