Best Season to Visit

Trekking is best done in the dry and warm seasons. The best months to go for trekking are any time between March-June and September- November. The skies are clearer, and the temperature is bearable. It is best to avoid during winter months.

Fitness Level & Experience

For trekking difficult peaks in the range of 5750 -7000, it is advisable to have adequate physical fitness and a bit of climbing experience. However for lower altitudes the only experience and fitness level required is your passion and willingness to be there.

Permits & Cards

Trekkers will find various police check points at protected national parks and reserves where the permits will be checked for its authenticity. Single or double fine will be charged in case if you are without the proper permits. In general most of the time there will be two or three permits, the conservation area or national park permit, Trekkers Information Management System (TIMS) Card and the last one is restricted area entry permit.
