Tourist Bus

Most of the tourist buses leave from Nayabazar, near Shepherd Holidays’ head office at 7 am. The facilities onboard are vary on the companies but almost all companies offer same facilities like air conditioning, Wi-Fi, a bottle of water, comfortable seats and frequent stops. If you are in a large group, Tourist bus is best option to have fun together. The cost is fixed USD 6.50 or NPR 700. The more luxurious bus charges around USD 25.00 including buffet lunch and travel insurance.

Public Bus

Public buses can be found any time up to late afternoon and night service buses up to 8 pm are the cheapest option comparing on pricing. They charge around USD 4.10 or NPR 450 per person. Public buses are not slower than tourist buses but tourist buses are very safe for tourists. These buses are less comfortable while sitting on the seats. No air condition, Old seats, loud speakers are worst parts of this service but if you are very tight on budget or you have missed your flight/tourist bus this should be the only option after private vehicles.
