Discover Nepal's Golden Triangle: Culture, Nature & Wildlife
Experience the very best of Nepal on our Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour, a carefully designed journey that combines the country's rich cultural heritage, breathtaking Himalayan landscapes, and remarkable wildlife adventures. Often referred to as Nepal's Golden Triangle Tour, this itinerary takes you through three of the country's most iconic destinations, offering the perfect introduction for first-time visitors as well as returning travelers seeking a well-balanced holiday.
Your journey begins in Kathmandu, Nepal's vibrant capital city and home to seven UNESCO World Heritage Sites within the Kathmandu Valley. Explore centuries-old temples, magnificent palaces, sacred Buddhist stupas, and lively local markets while discovering the fascinating history, art, and traditions that have shaped Nepal for generations. From the spiritual atmosphere of Swayambhunath (Monkey Temple) and Boudhanath Stupa to the architectural beauty of Kathmandu Durbar Square and Pashupatinath Temple, every corner of the city tells a unique story.
Leaving the cultural heart of Nepal behind, you'll travel to the beautiful lakeside city of Pokhara, one of the country's most picturesque destinations. Nestled beneath the majestic Annapurna Mountain Range, Pokhara offers a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. Enjoy a peaceful boat ride on Phewa Lake, visit the World Peace Pagoda, explore Davis Falls and Gupteshwor Cave, and witness breathtaking sunrise views over the Himalayas from Sarangkot. Adventure enthusiasts can also enhance their holiday with optional activities such as paragliding, ultralight flights, ziplining, or scenic helicopter experiences.
The final destination is Chitwan National Park, Nepal's first national park and a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its incredible biodiversity. Here, you'll experience a completely different side of Nepal as you venture into the subtropical jungle in search of the endangered one-horned rhinoceros, crocodiles, deer, sloth bears, and a wide variety of birdlife. Depending on the season and wildlife movement, there is also the possibility of spotting the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Jungle activities include jeep safaris, canoe rides, guided nature walks, birdwatching excursions, and visits to traditional Tharu villages, where you'll gain insight into the unique culture and lifestyle of the indigenous Tharu community.
One of the greatest advantages of the Kathmandu Pokhara Chitwan Tour is its flexibility. Whether you have one week or a little longer, we offer several itinerary options ranging from 7 to 10 days. You can travel comfortably by tourist bus, private vehicle, or domestic flights, while accommodation can be tailored to your preferences with carefully selected 3-star, 4-star, or luxury 5-star hotels and jungle resorts.
