This trail is perfect for beginners and within easy reach from Thamel. It takes only half a day for this ride as it takes about 3 to 4 hours to complete this trail and be back at your hotel.

This trail is one of the most adventurous and challenging trails in Kathmandu. The route goes to Kakani 2030m from Thamel and then Budhanilkantha . It takes about 5 to 6 hours to complete this trail and be back to your hotel.
3. Jamacho Route
This is another route within easy reach from Thamel but a bit harder and longer than Mudkhu- Tokha trail.This moderate ride takes you on a 21km serpentine road to the top of Nagarjun hill 2128m inside Shivapuri National park. From the top of the hill called viewpoint you can see the amazing views of himalayas , Kathmandu valley, green hills and many more. 4. Chobar to Champa Devi Route
This trail is one of the most popular trail located 9km south from Kathmandu valley. You will ride via jungle and local villages. After reaching there you can see the hills, Himalays and the biggest statue of “Manjushree”. In ancient times there used to be a big lake and Manjushree cut that lake with her weapon called “Tarbar” and the Chobar hill is formed. 5. Budhanilkantha- Kapan Trail
This trail is not so hard and perfect for the beginners within easy reach from Thamel. The route goes through Buddhist monasteries . It takes about 4 to 5 hours to complete the trail .
