The Short Annapurna Base Camp Trek is the fastest way to reach the foot of the 10th highest mountain in the world – Annapurna I (8091 m) – in just 5 trekking days. Starting from Jhinu village, this trek combines stunning mountain vistas, traditional villages, and three different climate zones, all within a short period. Perfect for travelers with limited time but a strong desire to experience the majesty of the Himalayas.

This 5-day trek is designed for those who want to enjoy the essence of the legendary Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) trek but in a condensed timeframe. After a 2-hour scenic drive from Pokhara to Jhinu, the adventure begins as you trek through lush subtropical forests, charming Gurung and Magar villages, and alpine landscapes.

By the second day, you’ll leave behind the subtropical greenery and enter the temperate zone with closer views of Machapuchhre (Fishtail) and Annapurna South. On the third day, you reach the iconic Annapurna Base Camp at 4,130 m – surrounded by Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Annapurna Fang (Baraha Shikhar), and Machapuchhre.

This trek is a rare opportunity to cross three climate zones within just three days of trekking and return to Pokhara on the fifth day. It is one of the quickest and most rewarding treks in Nepal, perfect for trekkers with limited time.
