Annapurna Base Camp and Everest Base Camp Trek are the two major attractions of the trekking in Nepal. Annapurna Base Camp is located in Gandaki Pradesh at Central Nepal and Everest Base Camp is in Pradesh No. 1 at Eastern Nepal. Annapurna is the home of several of the highest peaks in the world, including Mount Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Mount Manaslu (8,156m), Mount Annapurna I (8,091m) and other famous peaks over 6000 meters height including Annapurna II (7,937m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m) and Hiuchuli (6,441m). After beginning this once-in-a-lifetime trek, you will pass through ethnic villages and dense rhododendron and bamboo forests until you reach the jaw-dropping Annapurna Base Camp at 4130 meters. At the end of the trek, you will find yourself encompassed by pristine mountains, which form a walled fortress around you.

After completing the Annapurna Base Camp Trek, we head towards Everest Base camp and the journey starts from a fly to Lukla airport from Kathmandu and we head to Phakding from Lukla airport. Namche bazar shows you why it’s attractive destination among world tourist destinations which is the biggest local market where you can buy western food and other items easily. Sagarmatha National Park allows you a chance to see local flora and fauna on the way to Everest Base Camp.

Everest Base Camp Trek offers you to view of Top of the world, Mount Everest alongside other peaks which are more than 6800 meters height as well as glaciers. Kalapatthar is the highest altitude place of the Everest Base Camp Trek. Sunrise view from Kalapatthar is another beautiful moment for the traveler which no word can describe how beautiful it is. After your arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, our airport representative will greet you with khada (typical traditional Tibetian/Nepali scaff using for greetings) and escort you to the hotel. In the afternoon, you can take rest or explore the streets of Thamel nearby your hotel. In the evening, we will organize a short pre-trip meeting and introduce you with your trekking guide, who will brief you about the preparations to be done for the trip.

Overnight at Hotel

After breakfast in your hotel at Kathmandu, we will drive to Ghandruk through Pokhara (you can go by flight in extra cost) and overnight stay at Ghandruk. Today, we start the trek walking around one hour to reach Ghandruk from Kimche (near Ghandruk).

After the breakfast we start our journey heading towards Sinuwa from Ghandruk. The trail first goes ascends up to Komrong Danda and descends to Komrong Khola River then we cross the river and climb up hill trails to Romi Hill from where you can see the nice valley. The trail reachs Chhomrong, a typical Gurung village then the trail goes little descends to Chhmrong River and we finally ascend towards Sinuwa. We stay at Sinuwa tonight.

After the breakfast we start the morning with watching a close view of Fistail from Sinuwa. The trail goes through beautiful rhododendron forest, bank of Modi Khola and Bamboo forests. We then pass Bamboo, Dovan and arrive Deurali within 6-7 hours. Overnight stay at guest house in Deurali.

Today we trek through the small valley made by Modi Khola. The trail goes through bank of the river and ascends towards MBC, Machhapuchchhre Base Camp. Fishtail is the English name of Machhapuchhre. The valley now becomes little wider and you will be totally in the between of snow-packed towered mountains. From Machhapuchhre base camp we walk another 3 hours to reach our final destination of the day, the Annapurna Base Camp.

Today we wake up early in the morning to explore more of Annapurna Base camp and around, we can see the beautiful sunrise view along with the mountains including Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, Annapurna I, Khangsar Kang, Tarke Kang, Ganggapurna, Machhapuchhre. After having breakfast, we start our journey back to Dobhan to stay overnight.

After the breakfast we start our day trekking towards Jhinu Danda. The trail is same up to Chhomrong and then the trail goes to downhill and finally we reach to Jhinu. You can enjoy the hot spring after reaching Jhinu. Overnight stay at Jhinu Danda.

After the breakfast, we start the trek towards Siwain the trail find a new bridge then continuously goes following Modi Khola and reach to Siwain and we drive to Kathmandu. Overnight stay at hotel in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, early in the morning you will be picked up from your hotel to domestic airport and a short fly of 25-30 minutes take you to Tenzing Hilary airport at Lukla. Then, Crossing Rivers by bridges you will reach to Phakding.

Note: As you know the climate of Himalayas, Kathmandu-lukla flight may get delayed for one-two hours or even a day or two sometimes. We apologize for the inconvenience and do the best with available solution. If your flight cancels we go for Sightseeing of Kathmandu which suppose to be done after coming back from the trek.

After breakfast, we head to Namche Bazaar. The journey reachs to Sagarmatha National Park (Sagarmatha is the Nepali name of Mount Everest) crossing suspension bridges and through pine forest. Watching mountains a glimpse of images you will reach Namche Bazar.

Today is the acclimatization day. It helps to prepare for your body to walk more in further height. Namche Bazar is a Himalayan city so you can get many facilities which you normally get in the town. You shall explore the Namche Bazar and nearby places.

The journey starts walking with great views. You will reach Tengboche seeing wild animals and birds. Visiting monastery will be in the afternoon. In addition, a full moon day of October/November month, Mani Rimdu festival offers Tibetan Opera and masked dance.

Today you will reach to Dingboche from Tengboche. You will see a nice view of a snow tower of Mount Ama Dablam.

Today is the second acclimatization day of the trip. It will assist you to be fit and prepare for next route. Climbing 400 meters to Nangkartshang Gompa you will explore many views of and from the places like Mount Makalu (8,463 m) and Mount Ama Dablam from close range.

Today, you will reach to Lobuche. The trail climbs to a ridge and views of Taboche and Cholatse.

Today is the day of longest walk since you will be reaching at EBC, inner smile comes in your face after topping the Everest Base Camp. Following the wind-blown rocky path you will see other peaks Mount Pumori, Mount Lingtren, Mount Khumbutse, Mount Nuptse from west to east and you will reach to Gorak Shep. Gorak Shep is the last village of this Himalayan region.

Early in the morning, you will climb a 2-3 hours up to the Kala Paththar. It will be a pleasant morning watching sunrise in the lap of the Himalaya alongside other mountains as an eyewitness. Your eyes will be too much busy counting towers of the mountains from Kala Paththar, surrounding by Mount Pumori (7,145m/23,443ft), Mount Lingtren (6,697m/21, 973ft), Mount Khumbutse (6,623m/21,730ft), Mount Changtse (7,550m/24,772ft), Mount Lhotse (8,516m/27,941ft) and Mount Nuptse (7,861m/25,792ft) and Mount Cho Oyo (8,201m/26,907ft) in the west and Mount Ama Dablam to the south and offcourse there are other small named/unnamed peaks. You will be back to Gorak Shep for breakfast and reach to Pheriche.

You are now very close to complete the trails. You will watch Rhododendron, national flower of Nepal through its forest. After a climb to Sansa and walking an easy trail of remaining path takes you to the Namche Bazar.

Now you have arrived to comfortable places in altitudes. You will visit farming villages on your way to Lukla and now your porters will say you good bye after reaching Lukla, climbing a 700 meters slope trail.

After having breakfast early in the morning, you will take your return flight to Kathmandu from Lukla and transfer to your hotel. It’s a rest day but you may visit in local market, depending on your mood and arrival time from Lukla. Tomorrow will be sightseeing day in Kathmandu.

After breakfast, at around 9 am, our guide and driver will pick you from your hotel and you will go for the sightseeing of famous UNESCO world heritage sites around the valley.

Pashupatinath (World heritage site)

The world-famous Hindu temple, Pashupatinath is regarded as one of the holiest and oldest Hindu temples in the world. This temple is located 5km east from the city center at the bank of the holy Bagmati River. Pashupatinath area is widely decorated by various ornaments dedicated to Lord Shiva. As followed by the Hindu Culture, the cremation of the dead is done in the Pashupatinath area by the side of the bank of the holy Bagmati River.

Swyambhunath / Monkey temple (World heritage site)

Swyambhunath, also named as the monkey temple because it is surrounded by monkeys all over the area. Famous for people following both Hinduism and Buddhism, this temple not only provides the cultural and religious aspects but also offers various arts, architecture and the magnificent view of the Kathmandu valley from the western side of its hillock. Swyambhunath Stupa is imprinted by the eye of Lord Buddha, which stands for peace and knowledge.

Boudhanath (World heritage site)

Boudhanath is the oldest and the largest stupa in the valley, which was built during the Licchhavi dynasty in the 5th century around 2500 years ago. Its old name is ‘Khasa’ but later it was changed to Bouddhanath by the government. You will find many Buddhist pilgrims and monks from Tibet and various places going round the stupa spinning the prayer wheels.

Patan Durbar Square (World heritage site)

Patan Durbar Square is situated at the center of the Lalitpur city. The main attraction of Patan Durbar Square is the ancient Royal Palace, where the Malla Kings of Lalitpur resided. There are many temples and idols in this area. You can also explore the Newari lifestyle, food, and culture in the square and visit museums that contain many ancient items that have a lot of historical significance.
