Our Pokhara Sightseeing Day Tour is designed to show you the best of this charming city in a single day. From breathtaking mountain views to serene lakes and fascinating caves, this tour covers the highlights that make Pokhara a must-visit for travelers.

Your day begins early with a drive to Sarangkot, the most popular viewpoint near Pokhara, to witness a spectacular sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The golden glow of the morning sun slowly revealing the towering Himalayan peaks, including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), is an unforgettable sight. After sunrise, we return to the city for breakfast and then continue exploring Pokhara’s iconic attractions.

During the day, you will visit the World Peace Pagoda, a beautiful stupa perched on a hilltop overlooking Fewa Lake; Devi’s Falls (Patale Chhango), where water dramatically disappears into a tunnel; and the Gupteshwar Cave, a sacred cave with a view of the waterfall from inside. We also stop at Bindabasini Temple, one of Pokhara’s most revered Hindu shrines, and the Seti River Gorge, a unique natural wonder where the milky white river rushes through a narrow, deep gorge. The tour ends with a relaxing visit to Phewa Lake where you can stroll along the lakeside or take an optional boat ride.

Early Morning: Sarangkot Sunrise (Optional)

  • Start your day early with a short drive to Sarangkot Hill (approx. 30–40 minutes).
  • Witness the magical sunrise over the Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) mountain ranges.
  • Enjoy panoramic views of Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake from this scenic viewpoint.

Drive to the World Peace Pagoda, a white Buddhist stupa offering sweeping views of Pokhara, Phewa Lake, and the Himalayas.

Return to your hotel for breakfast, then begin your city tour.

Visit Bindabasini Temple, one of Pokhara’s oldest and most sacred shrines, dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati.

Stop at Seti River Gorge, where you can see the powerful Seti River flowing through a deep limestone gorge.

Explore the impressive Devi’s Falls, where water plunges into an underground tunnel.

Visit Gupteshwar Mahadev Cave, just across from Devi’s Falls, to see the sacred Shiva temple and underground waterfall view.
